Jede Liebe geht zu Ende, und daher auch die von Jean-Jacques und seiner Trudi.
Dies ist der letzte Teil der Cache-Serie Eine Liebe in Brühl, die die Geschichte von Trudi und Jean-Jacques erzählt, und die mit Eine Liebe in Brühl - wie alles begann beginnt.
Nach Trudis Tod konnte Jean-Jacques seine verstorbene Liebste auf dem Friedhof in Brühl besuchen und an ihrem Grab den schönen Erinnerungen an ein kurzes, entbehrungsreiches aber glückliches Leben zu zweit nachhängen.
Dieser Friedhof exisitiert heute nicht mehr, lag er doch einst um die Pfarrkirche St. Margaretha.
Auf diesem alten Friedhof wurde 1794 die barocke Kreuzigungsgruppe aufgestellt, die Kurfürst Clemens August einst vor einer Kapelle auf dem Schnorrenberg hatte errichten lassen.
1827 wurde der Friedhof auf Kosten der Zivilgemeinde aus hygienischen Gründen "außerhalb" der Stadt verlegt. Auch die Kreuzigungsgruppe kam auf den "neuen" Friedhof.
Bis 1911 trugen die Brühler hier ihre Toten zu Grabe. Einige Grabsteine erinnern noch heute an bedeutende Persönlichkeiten aus dem neunzehnten Jahrhundert. Dann war dieser Friedhof zu klein, so dass nur noch Erbbegräbnisse bis 1949 gestattet wurden.
1974 wurde die nunmehr "Alter Friedhof" genannte Stätte in einen Park umgewandelt.
Ihr betretet den "Alten Friedhof" durch das Tor an den Startkooridnaten. Im Tor seht ihr unter dem Wort PAX an den Streben einige Sterne. Ihre Anzahl ist A.
Beachtet auch den spannenden Grabstein direkt links vom Weg. Jean-Jacques und Trudi waren offensichtlich nicht das einzige internationale Paar dieser Zeit.
Geht nun auf den Friedhof zur Kreuzigungsgruppe, und seht sie Euch genau an. Die Anzahl der sichtbaren Füße der Figuren sei B. Die Anzahl der Eisenstreben, die das Kreuz stützen sei C.
Auf dem Bänkchen in der Nähe könnt ihr nun die Finalkoordinaten berechnen und den Weg zum Grab von Trudi finden.

This is the last part of the cache series "Eine Liebe in Brühl" (A Love in Brühl), which tells the story of Trudi and Jean-Jacques, and which starts with Eine Liebe in Brühl - wie alles begann.
After Trudis death Jean-Jacques went to visit his beloved on the churchyard in Brühl and thought about all the beautiful moments of the short, hard, but happy life they had shared together.
This cemetery, located around the church St.Margaretha, does not exist anymore today.
On it a baroque crucifixion group had been erected in 1794, which had been mounted on the Schnorrenberg by the order of elector Clemens August years before.
In 1827 this old cemetery was moved "outside" the city centre for hygienic reasons, and also the crucifixion group mentioned above was relocated to the "new" cemetery of Brühl.
The people of Brühl buried their dead here until 1911. Some of the old gravestones still remind us of important characters of the town of the 19th century. After that the graveyard became too small and only a few special funerals have been permitted there thereafter until 1949.
In 1974 the now so called "old cemetery" was transformed into a public park.
You enter the "old cemetery" through the gate at the starting coordinates. As part of the gate you can see some stars beyond the word PAX. The number of stars is A.
Have a look at the interesting tombstone directly on the left of the path. Jean-Jacques and Trudi were obviously not the only international couple of their time.
Now follow the path until the crucifixion group and have a close look at it. The number of visible feet of the group is B. The number of iron bars that support the cross is C.
On the bench nearby you can sit down to calculate the final coordinates and find the location of Trudis grave.
