Camino Sangrado Labyrinth and Prayer Garden Traditional Geocache

Camino Sagrado is a labyrinth and prayer garden located at the south end of the St. Philips Episcopal Church grounds.  It is always open with lighting provided after dark.  On weekends and after business hours, parking is permitted in the lot next to Camino Sagrado.  During business hours, parking is allowed only on North Getty Street.   Please be respectful if services are in session.

“Unlike a maze, a labyrinth is not intended to confuse or trick the participant.  A labyrinth consists of a design which provides a single path, laid out in a circular pattern… Labyrinths hold a historical place in various religions, traditions and cultures, but long ago Christians both adopted and adapted the sacred space as a place to include which indicate reverence for the Virgin Mary, a commitment to Jesus and the way of the cross.”

This cache is unique in that the church members approached me to place one here.  No tracking down whoever was in charge to ask permission!  You will need a tool for retrieval.  Please put the cache all the way back, sometimes it needs a bit of nudging.
