This cache is on the West facing side of the mountain, directly above the white painted "EC" on the hill visible from town. The easiest way to access it is by starting from the East side and going up and around.
Choose your path carefully and watch your footing, it can be tricky in places.
We had 2 large dogs with us and they had no problems. Younger kids will need some help navigating the rocks. There are ledges in the area that could potentionally be dangerous, but they can easily be avoided.
Enjoy the beautiful views of the bookcliffs and surrounding areas. Round trip, it took us about 4 hours, so you may want to bring a lunch.
