I'm going to take you back. Back to the days before I owned a GPSr. Before I had an app on my phone. Back before I knew what the heck I was doing. I was bored in Cockeysville, and decided to try this geocaching thing my dad's cousin, geocacher JuneNY, said she liked to do when traveling so she could find new places. My first find didn't have me immediately hooked, as my first few finds were few and difficult. But soon I got the hang of this sport and I was hooked. Though the 'tree' that 'carried' it (some old timers might know the cache that references) has been torn down, my first find was 50 feet away from this new one. I chose a container that both pays homage to the old hide in shape and color but is a nice twist on a container style most of you have seen before.
Bonus: In your find log, if you have a free moment, please consider telling me about your first find.
