Melina Mercouri Theater
Melina Mercouri (1920 - 94), Greek actress, singer, politician and Ministre for Culture of Greece (1981). She organized a campaign against the military junta ruled in Greece (1967-74). Author of the European Capital of Culture project, operating on behalf of European Union since 1985. On the TV, in the survey The Greatest Greeks (2009), where the most important personalities of the Greek history (incl. ancient Greece) were chosen by public, she reached 13th place.
We dedicate this cache to our father, who lived in Greece for four years and he concidered the Rhode Town as one of the most beautiful cities of the world.

Divadlo Meliny Merkouri
Melina Merkouri (1920 - 94) byla řecká herečka a zpěvačka, politička a ministryně kultury (1981). Organizovala kampaň proti řecké vojenské juntě, vládnoucí v letech 1967-74. Autorka projektu Evropské město kultury, fungujícího pod hlavičkou EU od roku 1985. V anketě Velcí Řekové (2009), která vybírala největší osobnosti řecké historie včetně starověku, se umístila na 13. místě.
Tuto kešku věnujeme našemu tatínkovi, který prožil v Řecku čtyři roky svého života a Město Rhodos považoval za jedno z nejkrásnějších na světě.
