Geocache Description:

The strand Miniture Railway

The strand miniture railway opened in 1948 and was originally a 9" gauge line that ran from the first aid hut alongside putting green and tennis courts. In 1974the layout was changed to its preent one and the engine in use today arrived in the 1980's.
