I have lived in the state of Maine all my life and love it. I also love geocaching and recently have really enjoyed the geo arts. I have created a geo art with 67 puzzles that form the outline of the state of Maine. The puzzles should be pretty easy. Have fun!
The caches are winter friendly, that being said, with the snow banks in the winter getting to them may be a challenge. Also there may not be as much space to pull over in the winter. Always pull over as far as you can. I tried to place the caches where there was space to pull over, no poison ivy, and away from houses. Because some of the caches are in cemeteries I will ask that there be no night caching on these.
While driving around and getting coords for the placement of the caches I drove about 40 miles. You may drive less depending on how you go about them.
I would love it if people replace full logs or wet ones if needed. Now the puzzle…..
