Stone-cum-Ebony is a rural village that can be found on the marshes of Southwest Kent in an area known as the Isle of Oxney. The community is made up of the village of Stone-in-Oxney and the hamlet of Ebony and has a population of approximately 500 people.
Notable features in the general area include the Royal Military Canal, a grade II listed church, a baptist chapel (that has since become a cottage) and part of the Saxon Shoreline walking route.
The village sign sits on a wooden post and is made of iron. It is predominantly painted black and features a number of animals associated with the local area. These include a hare, a sheep, a heron, a wading bird (possibly a curlew), a frog and an ox. Marsh reeds are also included in the design.
There is ample parking available near to the GZ, but please respect the locals while you are in the area. This is a residential area and muggles will be close by. The cache is a small round cliplock container.
