The Richmond Nature Study Centre is an example of a bog forest – the historic landscape of much of Richmond. An easy walking trail and extensive boardwalk loops from the parking lot in the southeast corner of the park. A bridge, which seems to span dry land, was actually built to cross a man made pond created in the 1970s and has since been reclaimed by the bog and is now dry much of the year.
Hidden in a quiet part of the park. Micro on edge of trail. Park opens daily 8am-dusk.
