The Richmond Nature Study Centre is an example of a bog forest – the historic landscape of much of Richmond. An easy walking trail and extensive boardwalk loops from the parking lot in the southeast corner of the park. A bridge, which seems to span dry land, was actually built to cross a man made pond created in the 1970s and has since been reclaimed by the bog and is now dry much of the year.

Large container so please hide well. Please note the bridge has been removed and the trail has been diverted. Do not try to walk north along old bridge line.
