HMLT-Off-the-Rails Traditional Geocache

The cache is placed in a location with fairly even terrain along a trail. It should be accessible in all weather. Public parking is available at the trailheads on either side of the Buckhorn Creek Trail and at Wolf Station. Placed with permission from the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition. A stop along the "History Makes a Left Turn" trail.

This cache can be found in a 5x3.25" container with four locking closures. You'll find a log book, a pencil, and a few puzzle pieces in the cache.

The Buckhorn Creek Trail is an eight (8) mile trail built upon an old C&M railbed. It runs parallel to County Road 21 and Interstate 77, connecting Stonecreek to Newcomerstown. This trail is wide and well maintained -- perfect for cylists who want to travel side-by-side (where appropriate and respecting of other trail users).
