(Small) Mountain event near Wilhelm-Eicherthütte on Hohe Wand

on Sunday, 28.09.2014, starting at 12:00 o'clock.
Zeitplan / Timing
Der Event findet bei der Wilhelm-Eicherthütte auf der Hohen Wand statt und beginnt um 12:00. Das offizielle Logbuch liegt dort mindestens von 12:30 bis 13:30,
wahrscheinlich bis 14:00 auf.
Bei diesem Bergevent ist keine Übernachtung vorgesehen, daher beginnt aus Sicherheitsgründen spätestens um 14:00 der Abstieg.
Cacher, die es aus irgendwelchen Gründen nicht rechtzeitig zum Event schaffen, finden an der Außenseite der Hütte ein Late Logging Ticket, das das Loggen des Events bis zum Abend ermöglicht. Weitere Anweisungen stehen auf dem Ticket.
Die aktuellen Guidelines über das Loggen eines Events ohne Eintrag im Logbuch werden selbstverständlich berücksichtigt.
The event takes place near Wilhelm-Eicherthütte on Hohe Wand and starts at 12:00. The official log book will be available there at least from 12:30 to 13:30, most probably to 14:00.
This is a mountain event without an overnight stay. For security reasons the descent starts not later than 14:00.
If for any reason you cannot reach Wilhelm-Eicherthütte on time you'll find a Late Logging Ticket on the outside of the hut. You can use this ticket for logging the event till the evening comes. Further instructions are written on the ticket.
The current guidelines regarding logging an event without signing the logbook are fully acknowledged.
Die Wilhelm-Eicherthütte liegt in 1052 Metern Höhe auf der Großen Kanzel, sie ist damit die höchstgelegene Hütte der Hohen Wand. Nur 15 Gehminuten von der Hütte entfernt erhebt sich der 1132 Meter hohe Plackles, der höchste Punkt der Hohen Wand.
Achtung: Die Wilhelm-Eicherthütte bietet eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken, eine Konsumation ist für die Teilnahme am Event natürlich nicht erforderlich.
Bitte loggt bis 22.09.2014 ein "Will Attend" und gebt die Anzahl der teilnehmenden Personen an. Bitte erwähnt in eurem Log, falls ihr keinesfalls die Hütte betreten wollt. Das erleichtert dem Hüttenwirten die Vorbereitung. Danke dafür.
Bitte beachtet: Die Hohe Wand ist teilweise alpines Gebiet. Wanderschuhe, warme Bekleidung und Regenschutz sind absolut erforderlich.
Es gibt viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten, auf die Hohe Wand zu kommen, von der Auffahrt mit dem Auto (nicht empfohlen, Mautstraße am Sonntag kostenpflichtig) über Wanderwege und versicherte Steige bis zu schwierigen Kletterrouten.
Bitte wählt den für euch geeigneten Weg aus und überschätzt euch nicht, Sicherheit ist oberstes Gebot.
Jeder ist für sein Handeln selbst verantwortlich. Weder der Owner noch Groundspeak noch andere Personen übernehmen irgendeine Verantwortung für Schäden an Sachen oder Personen.
Falls ihr Trackables zum Event mitbringt, gebt sie bitte nur direkt von Hand zu Hand. Es wird kein Sammelkörbchen geben.

The Wilhelm-Eicherthütte is located 1052 meters a.s.l. in the southwestern part of the Hohe Wand, a mountain ridge in Lower Austria. Only 15 minutes of walking take you from the hut to the 1132 meters high Plackles, the highest point on Hohe Wand.
Important: Wilhelm-Eicherthütte offers a great variety of food and drinks. No consumation is required to attend the event, though.
Please post your "Will Attend" by 22.09.2014 and specify the number of participants. Please also mention if you are not going to enter the hut. That's just for facilitating the preparation at the hut. Thanks a lot.
Please note: Hohe Wand is partly alpine area. Hiking shoes, warm clothing and rain gear are absolutely necessary.
There are many different ways to get up to Hohe Wand. You can go by car (not recommended, road fee collected on Sundays), hike on trails and paths or choose a more difficult climbing route.
Please select the appropriate way for you and always remember that safety is what it's all about.

If you bring Trackables to the event please only hand them over directly to another cacher. There will be no collection basket.
