The Aphrodite Trail is a series of caches which will explore the south coast of Cyprus from Kourion to Aphrodite's Rock and further west as we add to it; it's hoped that it will help visitors to the island to discover those places that are well known to locals, but that can be overlooked by guidebooks.
Planned as a series of drive-bys, each cache has safe parking available nearby and a maximum walk of a hundred metres or so. They're not designed to be difficult, to make you hot and bothered or to make you waste time looking for ridiculous hides in the sweltering sun. They are designed to take you to spots that you might not otherwise have found, and we hope you enjoy the places and views as much as we do.
Please don't let children too close to the edge here, but do try and look down at the strange rock formation in the sea below. It looks almost man made, and this is clearly a very popular spot as we CITO'd several bags of rubbish from the location today. Please help us keep it clean by removing any litter you find - thank you!
