Ramsholmens naturreservat är ett av Ålands främsta och ett veritabelt paradis för blomsterälskaren. Floran är rik och varierande med många rariteter, som t.ex. ramslök och olika orkidéer. På våren formligen exploderar hela Ramsholmen i ett överdåd av blåsippor, vitsippor och gullvivor. Här finns också de flesta i landskapet förekommande ädla buskar och lövträd representerade. Runt området löper en promenadstig, som är värd ett besök oberoende av årstid, så packa picknickkorgen och unna dig en sann naturupplevelse!
Naturligtvis har vi lagt cachen utanför området för att respektera reservatet. Ta med en magnet!!!
The Ramsholmen nature reserve is one of the largest in the Åland islands, and is particularly popular among both professional and amateur horticulturalists. The reserves rich variety of flora features a number of rarities like ramsleek and various orchids. With the melting of the snows in the spring the whole of Ramsholmen Nature Reserve erupts in vivid colours with the first appearance of the regions delightful blue and white anemones and cowslips. Most of the existing precious bushes and deciduous trees to be found in Jomala are also represented here.
The reserve is best explored via the footpath which meanders around the area, and there plenty of secluded spots where visitors are encouraged to relax and enjoy a picnic while taking in the natural beauty that surrounds them.
Of course, we have added the cache outside the area in order to respect the reserve. Bring a magnet!!
