Geocache Description:

The Cache
An ammo can located near the north end of the depot.

The Location
In addition to their impressive display of rolling stock, the Lynnville Railroad Museum displays an ever growing collection of railroad memorabilia. Almost everything, from track laying tools to old railroad watches, has been donated by local people with a special link to railroad history. An operating scale model railroad depicts Lynnville as it was in the 1930’s when the L & N moved passengers as well as freight.
The Area
This cache is placed in Giles County "The Wild Turkey Capital of Tennessee". While the county is famous for it’s wildlife, it is also home of the Milky Way Farm and Mansion--founded by Mr. Frank Mars, the famous candy maker. The county seat, Pulaski was named an All America City in 1993. "The Land of Milk and Honey." Giles County is an ideal stopover for vacationers who enjoy a progressive community that preserves its cultural heritage.

The Jack Trail GeoTour
The Jack Trail GeoTour is a series of geocaches along the backroads and small towns of Middle Tennessee. There is no fixed itinerary, like on a traditional trail, but rather a series of points of interest in a self-guided, goal-oriented plan. We have created a special passport, which you can download here, which lets you track your progress as you hunt specially placed geocaches along the tour. This passport will help you collect “code words” to qualify for special geocoins for completion of the GeoTour.

Special thanks to the Alien Spy for archiving an existing listing to make this cache possible.
