Geocache Description:

Can you find the second stage of this two-part mystery by referencing only a single coordinate?

AN IMPORTANT NOTE: Masks are required by the venue where the final part of this cache is hidden. Also, as a safety precaution, the road to stage one is closed at certain times while a children's summer camp is in progress. You should be able to detour around the closure by using the main parking lot. At other times, you may have to park in the lot and walk to stage one.

The hunt begins with a micro container hidden within park ‘n’ grab distance of the listed parking coordinates. While this should be an easy-ish find most of the time, in certain seasons you will be greeted by burly muggles wielding clubs. Burly, and inquisitive, and quite probably loitering close to the cache. So unless you are wearing your cloak of invisibility, it might be better to come back when the muggles have taken their clubs and gone home. (For the record, they are almost never here during the winter. But at other times of the year they come and go, so there are ample opportunities to seek the cache.)

Inside the container you will find a single coordinate. It is neither latitude nor longitude. It is not altitude or azimuth. It is not any kind of coordinate you can enter into your GPS device or locate on a topographic map. (No, it is not a Star Date, either.) It is a specialized coordinate which is useful in only one type of environment. THIS IS IMPORTANT: Make sure you have something to write with and something to write on. You will have to reference this single coordinate to find the second stage, so unless you have eidetic memory it’s probably best to write it down.

Next, drive or walk to the vantage point. (See coordinates below.) If you walk, be careful. There are no sidewalks between here and there. You may not be able to park at the vantage point coordinates -- a mugglemobile may have beaten you to the spot -- but you will be able to park close to the numbers. From the vantage point, look north. You will see a structure, with a portal through which you will be able to access the interior space. Once you have gained entry, simply reference the single coordinate you recorded at Stage One to find the final. The cache has room for small trade goods and trackables.

The access hatch through the portal is unsealed only during the following hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 10-5; Tuesday and Thursday: 10-8; Saturday: 10-3 Entry is not possible at any other times, and never on Sundays or major holidays.

There are people and institutions who deserve "thanks" for inspiring this cache and for making it possible. That includes NY Admin, who patiently endured a series of email inquiries while the idea for this cache was taking form. I also must thank the cacher known as LL Davanzo, who willingly sacrificed one of the Reis Pieces caches to make room for this one. I can't identify others who assisted without making this cache easier than it already is. You will find the appropriate acknowledgements at the final.

Shhhhh. Gotta be quiet here, so I can't say this too loud: congratulations to JCOsborn for being the first to find. this one.
