We are group of young Dorset volunteers who have set a trail so you can go back in time and walk in the Shoes of a Dorset First World War Soldier. In this cache there are things to swap, some history cards we made and a QR code to scan with a WW1 radio show and extra info. We did all the research and design work and made our own app.
In this cache we have tried to tell the story of a Dorset First World War Soldier as he practised what he learnt in basic training marching along these tracks and learnt field craft skills like digging trenches and latrines, pitching tents cooking, navigation & reconnaissance.
