Geocache Description:

Posted Coordinates are Bogus

They might as well be on another planet as they will not help you one bit in finding the final location of this cache.  The physical cache is within 2 miles of the posted coordinate and can be found 10 feet or so off of a paved trial.

Solve the puzzle, find the cache, have fun!

Summer is almost here and you know what that means, Geo-Caching Road Trip!

Jo.Cap and I plan all of our trips based on the caches we want to find. We'd think nothing of turning a 3 hour trip into a 500 mile 8 hour gallivant of finding caches to complete a challenge, checking off new counties and states, find a gadget cache, earthcache or cool virtual.

Last year we took a long road-trip. When we looked at the locations, we noticed they produced a set of coordinates. Can you decipher the coordinate and find the small & and lock I hid at them?

Here's the route we took. Perhaps it could have been a little more optimal, but you know how it goes with some of those challenges, you need to find things in a specific order.

We left New Jersey and made our first stop in a small town in Butler County, Pennsylvania. - N40° 41.797 W080° 00.629

Since we were already in PA, we stopped at another small Pennsylvania town in Allegheny County - N40 29.430 W80 11.148

We decided to head west to Duchesne County, Utah to see and interesting lake. - N40 33.747 W110 29.376

From there, we pretty much headed south-east to Florida to visit a Lighthouse and Museum - N26 57.132 W80 05.066

From Florida, we headed west to Lamb County in Texas,  - N34 13.535 W102 24.655

Well, since we're already in Texas, we should head over to Ellis ... or is it Johnson County and check out the town that's there. - N32 25.766 W97 6.416

Apparently, we made a wrong turn on to the interstate, and found ourselves back in Monmouth County.  - N40 12.013 W74 02.017

It was time to eat, so we visited mblatch in San Fransisco and stopped at a Market on 17th St., the road is at an incredible 17% grade.  - N37 45.711 W122 26.719

A few days later we found ourselves in Madison County, North Carolina.- N35 49.592 W82 33.247

Next stop was to visit E.T. in Nye County, Nevada.- N36 39.596 W115 59.973

From Nevada, we headed south-east to a small village in St. Tammany Parish - N30 38.936 W89 53.643

It was pretty hot in Louisiana, so we headed to a lake in Alaska to cool off. - N57 34.752 W152 13.938

Turns out, it was a little too chilly for us up there, so we headed to Maricopa County, Arizona, where let me tell you, it was HOT! - N 33 35.968W 112 16.583

Wow, that's a lot of driving.  I think it time we just head home - N 43 38.266 W 94 05.009
