This very simple cache is located in the Turramurra Lookout Community Garden. The members of this garden are aware of Geocaching and that my hide is placed here so don't worry about searching when there are people working away. Take the time to wander around for a good look and a chat with some of the gardeners. I'm sure you'll learn a thing or two. I certainly did!!
There is a two hour public carpark in Gilroy Lane (see parking waypoint). Walk through one of the walkways then cross the Pacific Highway at the traffic lights. There is no parking on the Pacific Highway itself!
The Turramurra Lookout Community Garden has approximately 50 members who live in the Kuring-gai area, with new members joining all the time. Planning for the garden started in 2009 with digging started in 2010. There are communal garden areas and 24 individual plots. The garden is completely organic and the design has a number of permaculture features. In early 2011, a tool shed was constructed while a pond and solar power were installed in 2012. Future plans include a community shelter and a demonstration garden. Every Saturday, from 9am to 12pm, a working bee is held by the garden members and visitors are welcome to come along for a chat.
