Geocache Description:

This is a quick multi with just the two stages based around St Johns Church, Ballahulish.

Please note that the road is very busy and the path is a cycle route so keep dogs on a leash.

As you walk into the churchyard you will see a small building on your left with a cross on the door and end gable. This was originally a store room but became the church around 1777. The current church was built in 1842 and was consecrated two years later and the chancel was added in 1888.

The house next door was built as a parsonage circa 1870 to replace the one built about 1834 and was sold off when Ballachulish was linked to Glencoe.

If you have the time please have a wander around the churchyard and marvel at some of the gravestones which look as if they were engraved yesterday but are in fact fairly old. This is because of the Ballachulish slate, quarried nearby, that they are made from.

To get the coordinates of where the actual cache is hidden, answer the following questions.

A = The number of windows in the church that face the Pap of Glencoe
B = How many roses are there on the white notice board by the entrance to the churchyard
C = This church belongs to the Diocese of ? And the Isles, how many letters in the missing word
D = The number of letters in the last word on the white notice board
E = The number of crosses on the white noticeboard near the entrance to the churchyard
F = How many thistles are on the entance gates
