Teil der GeoTour Sattelfeste Geoheimnisse.
Die Sattelfesten Geoheimnisse sind eine Reihe von 20 Caches entlang des grünen Rings. Das ist ein 80 km langer Radweg, der euch einmal um die Stadt führt. Bitte geht diese Caches mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß an! Mit dem Auto kommt man oft nicht wirklich nah ran oder muss lange Umwege fahren. Wir haben den „Grünen Ring“ in Viertel aufgeteilt, am Ende jedes Viertels gibt es einen Bonuscache. Am Besten fahrt ihr IM Uhrzeigersinn! |

Der Cache
Um den Cache öffnen zu können, ermittle zunächst die Kombination mit Hilfe deiner UV-Lampe. Bringe außerdem 4 AA Batterien mit! Aufladbare Batterien sind eventuell nicht stark genug. Normale Batterien funktionieren hier besser. Du brauchst eine ruhige Hand und etwas Zeit. Genaue Beschreibung gibt es auf der Türinnenseite. BITTE NACH NUTZUNG DAS AUSSCHALTEN NICHT VERGESSEN! Denke daran, die Bonuszahl zu notieren!

Der Misburger Wald wird in einer Urkunde von 1365, in der den Bürgern Hannovers erlaubt wurde im Moor zwischen Warmbüchen und der ""Mudzborgher Holte"" Torf zu stechen erstmals erwähnt. Durch den Bau des Mittellandkanals 1916 wurden weite Teile des Gebietes entwässert. Doch trockenen Fußes kam man erst nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg hindurch, als die Waldwege mit Trümmerschutt aufgefüllt wurden und dadurch eine leichte Dammlage erhielten."

Part of the GeoTour Sattelfeste Geoheimnisse.
The Sattelfeste Geoheimnisse is a set of 20 Geocaches along the bicycle path "Der Grüne Ring". This path is a 80 km long route around hannover. Please use your bike to get to the caches. With your car you may have some trouble or you have to do long detours. We divided the GeoTour in to 4 quarter. At the end of every quarter there is a bonus cache. We suggest to ride the tour clock-wise. |

The Cache
In order to open the cache, you must first find the combination with the help of your UV lamp. Also, please bring 4 AA batteries! Rechargeable batteries may not be strong enough. Normal batteries work better here. You need a steady hand and a little time. Detailed description can be found on the inside of the door. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO SWITCH THE OFF BUTTON WHEN DONE! Remember to record the bonus number!

Information about the surrounding area:
The Misburger forest was mentioned in a 1365 charter, in which the citizens of Hanover were allowed to cut peat between Warmbüchen and the ""Mudzborgher Holte"". Due to the construction of the Mittelland Canal in 1916, large parts of the area were drained. However, you could only pass through on dry foot after the Second World War, when the forest paths were filled with rubble and thus received a slight embankment."
