About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website

About Goffs Park Station


This cache was placed to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the SideTracked series on 10th August 2014!

The local Council was approached in the 1960s for a site in Goffs Park on which to build a track. Permission was granted and a track of about 750 feet was built. Two years later an extended section was opened to give a complete circuit of 1250 feet. The railway has continued to run since that date.

This micro cache is situated near the West end of the tracks, and is a nice spot to sit and watch the trains go by!

The cache contains a log book at the time it was placed, but you will need to bring your own pen.

At many times of the day you will need to be stealthy to retrieve this without being muggled as this area is very busy with people enjoying the park, so beware of the muggles!

Please ensure that you replace it carefully and replace the camo.
