Bear Head #1
The Bear Head Power Trail was inspired by the Head Alien geo-art just off of the ET Highway by Rachael, NV. DSK11 of Power Saw attended the Mega Event, Geocoinfest in Las Vegas, NV, in October of 2013. This is where the inspiration started. The Power Saw group of Jobok & Deedster, King.Tut and DSK11 had been talking about doing a Bear Head geo-art somewhere in the Medicine Hat area for a while, so after looking at some pictures taken at the Head Alien, we knew exactly what we were going to do.
The Bear Head Trail can be done any time, day or night, but is probably not winter friendly. While doing the power trail please watch for traffic, be safe, and most of all have fun. Oh and watch out for the normal critters, snakes and such. Ditches can be deep as well as the grass, so take extra care.
Please come and enjoy the SAW (South Alberta Weekend), which is the third weekend in August every year. Many events such as the Welcome to Medicine Hat event, Flash Mob, CARMH (Cache And Relax Medicine Hat) event, and the CITO event.
