Geocache Description:

This is a small hamlet one of many disappearing from the Saskatchewan prairies. It was named after the three founding families Bremners(Bre) Sayers(say) and Taylors(lor).

BRESAYLOR

My great grandfather, Joe Sayers, moved here at 12. He settled, married(Mary Rose Pritchard) and raised his family. He saw many changes over his 85 years in this community, he survived the rebellion of 1885, saw the coming of the railroad, and the birth of Saskatchewan.

He and Mary had 13 children, whose many descendants still live in the local communities. I placed this cache to honour them and all founding families.  The small museum has local history and is open for a donation three days a week. (M, W, Sun). Hope you enjoy this small piece of Saskatchewan history.

Container is small so byop.
