To determine the location of the final, where the container and official log are located, you will need to go to the posted coordinates and calculate adjusted/final North and West coordinates.
At the posted coordinates you'll be able to see a peaceful setting with a white walking bridge that spans part of Bowman Pond.
Count the number of existing fence post caps (white balls that are each about the size of a grapefruit) and multiply that total by three (be careful as two of the intended caps were missing when we posted this cache). Then add 20 to that number. SUBTRACT your answer from the posted NORTH coordinates.
To determine the adjusted WEST coordinates, do the following. While standing at the historical sign, turn around and look for a red lamp at the top of a pole located on the southeast corner of the nearby building. To the left of that red bulb there is a small sign with three words that describe why the red light is there. Count the total number of letters on that sign and multiply it by 72 and add 1, for good measure. SUBTRACT that number from the year located at the bottom of the historical marker. Your result will be EQUAL to the last three digits portion of the WEST coordinates for the final.
Go to the adjusted coordinates and find the container. Sign the log, and return the container as found.
