Small plastic container with a log book and some toys, please bring your own pen/pencil - I've provided some in the container but they tend to get snatched. This area tends to collect litter rather quickly, so those that are feeling generous, please CITO as you come to look for the geocache. The college holds an annual "Community Day" in October where staff/students do a volunteer clean-up of the Ashuelot Rail Trail, but trash recollects here throughout the year.
Hidden off the Ashuelot Rail Trail which cuts through the Keene State College campus. Cache with confidence as this container has been placed here with permission from the KSC grounds and campus safety departments. I love to walk this trail all year long, especially in the fall with the beautifully-colored leaves as I experience the peaceful outdoors and get some fresh air. The cache name came about as I was scoping out the area. I heard and saw a helicopter fly just above the tree tops as it headed towards the Keene Dillant-Hopkins airport. Beware of mosquitoes in this area during the summer, don't forget your bug repellent. After a rain it can be pretty muddy and wet, please be careful.
