Geocache Description:

This is a short multicache, leading to a black bison tube near St Lawrence's Church, Stoak.

The present church almost entirely dates from 1827, with further additions built in 1911-12. However, churches have occupied this site since Saxon times. A Norman church on the site was described in the 14th century as being "a sumptuous fabric of stone and wood, of great size, with four bells, but was then becoming ruinous".

The bell tower, dating from the 1827 restoration, is built in a 15th century style. Unusually the tower has a one-fingered clock - one of only two like this in the region. The tower houses the three oldest bells in the Wirral, dated 1615, 1631 and 1642, though they cannot be rung due to the poor state of the frames, which may be original.

The cache is not located at the given co-ordinates, which are for the graveyard to the south of the church. You will need to use the information on the gravestones here to calculate the final resting place of the cache:

A = the day of the month on which Wilkinson Grace died.
B = (the number of daughters buried near the man who died "January the 20 1783 Aged 41") + (the day of the month on which Frances Gerrard's dad died).
C = (the first day of the December 1822 hurricane) - (the last digit of the year of Mary Nixon's death).
D = the second digit of the year in which Hannah White's daughter died.
E = (the third digit of the year in which the monument to John & Dick was placed) + (the month in which Samuel Yoxon died).
F = the number of letters in the first name of the man who died on September 28, aged 89.
