There seems to be some competition about where the biggest mail box actually is located in the world.

Until 22 December 2013 the largest mail box, that is painted blue, was presumable located on Sandoy, the Faroe Islands.

But now it's possible that the largest mail box stand here in Longyearbyen, Svalbard.
