Diese Route bietet für den Abstieg zwei Varianten. Eine „einfache“ über die kleine Straße und den Camino Barranco und die, die über einen steilen Bergrücken und einen Wasserkanal führt und eindeutig aufregender und spannender aber auch gefährlicher ist.
Hierfür sind definitiv festes Schuhwerk, Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit erforderlich! Bitte beachtet die Hinweise aus dem Rother Wanderführer, Tour Nr. 47.
Du startest in Punta del Hidalgo nahe der Kirche. Es geht steil aufwärts nach Baija. Nicht vergessen, die auf dem Weg liegenden Caches El Batan (GCTQD4) und Adventure in the channel TENERIFE (GC2A8EW) zu loggen! Die Wegpunkte für den Aufstieg sind A0 bis A4, bis Du das Gemeindehaus in Batán de Abajo erreichst, von wo aus der Abstieg beginnt (Wegpunkte T0 bis T7). Ab T6 geht es den Kanal entlang - das ist der einzige Weg der Dich zum Cache führt.
Wichtig: Nimm die OpenStreetMap der Kanarischen Inseln mit, sie zeigt Dir alle Wege, die Du brauchst. Ich habe diese hier verwendet:

This track offers two variants for descending: The "easy" one, taking the small street and the Camino Barranco, and the one that leads over a steep ridge and a water channel. This is uniquely exciting and thrilling but it is also dangerous.
Good shoes, resistance against fear of heights and slip resistance are required! Please adhere to the information from the Rother Wanderführer, Tour No. 47.
You start in Punta del Hidalgo next to the church. Ascent to Bajia, and don't forget to log El Batan (GCTQD4) and Adventure in the channel TENERIFE (GC2A8EW). The ascending waypoints are A0 to A4, until you reach the parish hall of Batán de Abajo, where you find the trailhead for your descent trail (T0 to T7). T6 indicates the entry point into the canal - this is the correct way to get to the cache.
Important: Take the OpenStreetMap of Canary Islands with you, it shows all trails you need on your hike. I used this one:
