This beautiful limestone cathedral was built between 1908 and 1911. On May 14, 1971, it was placed in the National Register of Historic Places as a building of "architectural significance." The Cathedral welcomes over 16,000 tourists a year. On June 7, 2014, St Fedelis was dedicated as a minor basilica. The church is open during daylight hours for anyone wishing to visit.
To verify that you have found this cache and claim credit for a find, visit the site and then, Message me the number of wagon loads of stone that each parishioner was required to haul to the building site. It's on a plaque in front of the Cathedral. Please don't post it on the web site.
