Deviņus kilometrus no Jelgavas pie Iecavas ceļa Lielupes labajā krastā atrodas agrākā Teteles muiža, kuras teritorijā izvietota sešdesmitajos gados uzceltā Teteles pamatskola. Karos un jo sevišķi bermontiešu trakošanas dēļ 1919. gadā muiža ļoti cietusi, tomēr dažas ēkas saglabājušās. Tostarp arī pašā upes krastā no plienakmeņiem mūrēts apmēram metrus desmit augsts skatu tornis.(...) Pēc vienas versijas, ko skolotāja aprakstījusi 1992. gadā izdotajā jubilejas bukletā "Teteles skolai 160", šo torni muižas īpašnieks barons fon Bērs 1840. gadā uzcēlis par godu Krievijas troņmantniekam vēlākajam caram Aleksandram III, kas vairākas reizes ieradies pie Bēra uz medībām. Tornī tad viesiem uzvilkts karogs.
Slēpnis ir fotofilmiņas kastīte, kas satur logbuku, zīmuli, spicējamo. Nekas nav jārok, jāplēš, nekur nav jārāpjas. Lūgums pret slēpni izturēties saudzīgi un pēc ielogošanās atstāt viņu, kā viņš bija.

Eng: A cache located near the Tetelminde tower. 9 km from Jelgava, by the road to Iecava, on the right bank of Lielupe lays the former manor of Tetele. Tetele manor was badly damaged by wars, especially in 1919 during the raging of Bermontians. Because of that not much was left from the buildings that made up the manor complex. The 10 m high watch tower was basically the only surviving structure. According to the legend, this tower was built by the owner of the manor von Baehr in 1840 in honour of successor of the Russian throne Alexander III, later tsar, who has visited von Baehr several times to hunt together. On such occasions a flag would be hoisted on top of the Tetelminde tower. A lot later, in the 60s, Teteles elementary school was built. Back then the tower was in a pretty bad condition, so a few years later it was renovated to make sure it’s safe; the original look of Tetelminde tower was changed a bit by adding a roof. Cache contains a logbook, pencil and a sharpener. No need to dig, claw or tear, same goes for climbing. Please be gentle with the cache and after you have logged in leave it the way you found it. P.S. Be careful and try to avoid muglers, since there is a school very close.
