Geocache Description:

A little cache out in the great open sage country near Farson with views of the Wind River Mountains creating the popular symbol that represents Wyoming.

These caches are designed to be walked to or rode to by horseback. The area has a lot of dirt roads to do small or large sections. Cache WildRide 1 & WildRide 189 are large caches. The rest are micro to small so bring something to write with. Thanks to BLM, UW, a Surveyor Company, & BOR for allowing us to place these caches. Enjoy & have fun.

Wyoming was admitted to the Union on July 10, 1890 - the 44th State.

The Bucking Horse & Rider (BH&R) is a registered trademark of the state of Wyoming. In 1936, Wyoming trademarked the image for the state's license plates. However, the state's usage of the logo is traced back to as early as 1918. Wyoming is popularly known as the "Cowboy State," in part because of the use of the bucking bronco as its symbol. The University of Wyoming athletic teams are nicknamed the Cowboys & Cowgirls. Both use the BH&R logo on their uniforms.

The caches are placed around sage bushes with either rock cover or sage branches for cover.
