Golf is a sport in which players use several types of tacos to throw a ball into a series of holes in a vast expanse of land, using the smallest possible number of strokes. Is one of the few sports co
m ball that does not require a standardized playing area. Instead, the sport is practiced on a golf course, which usually consists of a progression of nine or eighteen holes. Every hole includes an initial land area (tee) and a final area (green), which finds the hole itself. Between the two areas there are several standardized types of terrain and obstacles, and each hole has a unique configuration.
Golf competitions are usually scored due to the smaller number of individual strokes, or stroke play, or the lowest score on each individual hole during a complete round of a player or a team, or match play. The stroke play format, however, is the most common in all competitions.
