Cette cache est dédiée à la mémoire d’Aniela. Elle travaillait dans la ferme juste à côté d’ici moment du débarquement.
Le 14 juin 1944, cette femme a été la première femme agressée violemment par un homme des forces alliées. Cet homme appartenait au 494e bataillon. Le crime a été puni le 14 aout 1944, la loi martiale a été appliquée et la sentence fut mise en œuvre au château de Canisy.
Dans cette guerre, comme dans toutes les guerres, il n’y a pas eu un camp rempli d’hommes bons, et un autre rempli d’hommes mauvais. Nous trouvons de chaque côté des hommes de tous genres.
Derrière cet acte et ce récit, pensez bien que la guerre ne laisse aucun homme intact. Quel que soit ses racines, ses croyances, la couleur de sa peau ou ses convictions.

This Geocache is dedicated to the memory of Aniela. She worked in the farm near the Geocache. The June 14, 1944, this woman was the first woman violently assaulted by a man of the allied forces.
