Letiště v současnosti
Historická letištní budova Petra nadchla, ale bylo mu jasné, že dnešnímu provozu na letišti by nikdy stačit nemohla. Vždyť jenom plocha, kterou dnes zabírá, je desetinásobně větší než ta, na které původní ruzyňské letiště vyrostlo. Petra docela vyděsilo, že by se při hledání další krabičky měl vydat na letištní plochu, ale pak se mu najednou rozsvítilo. Vždyť ono to nebude tak těžké! Kdysi dávno se dočetl, že tady někde mají model celého areálu – a pokud si dobře vzpomínal, mělo by to být někde ve vstupní hale Terminálu 3.
Jak na keš: Prohlédněte si prostor Terminálu Sever z ptačí perspektivy. Na modelu vidíte budovy Terminálu 1 a Terminálu 2, příjezdové parkoviště s budovou Parkingu C s charakteristickými „šneky“ v rozích, ale hlavně prostor, kam se běžní smrtelníci pěšky jen tak nedostanou: Letištní plochu a „prsty“ A, B a C vybavené pohyblivými tunely pro vstup a výstup z letadel. Pokud jste si model poctivě prohlédli, asi už víte, kde hledat letadlo společnosti KLM. Samotnou keš hledejte ve směru, který udává právě tohle letadlo, na konci haly, ve které stojíte.

The Airport Today
Petr was fascinated by the original airport building, but he was absolutely clear there was no way all current flight operation could be handled from here – even the total area the airport uses today is ten times the original area of the Ruzyně Airport. He was quite surprised, though, when he found out he would need to travel around the runways to get to the next cache. But then he understood. It isn’t going to be that difficult at all! He once read about a model of the airport area – and if he remembered correctly, it was somewhere inside Terminal 3.
How to get the cache: Take a bird’s-eye look at Terminal North. On the model you see the buildings of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, the driveways and parking places (including the six-story Parking C with its typical spiraling entrance & exit), but you can also see places you could hardly ever visit in person – the airfield and “fingers” A, B and C with their mobile boarding tunnels. If you looked real closely, you already know where to find the plane operated by KLM. And you will find the cache in the direction this plane points to, at the end of the hall you’re in.
