HOMENAGEM AO GRANDE
CHEFE JAIME
- Este evento, pretende reunir, na Horta – Faial, geocachers com os seguintes objectivos:
1) - Partilha e troca de experiências sobre o Geocaching,
2) - Visualização de um filme sobre Geocaching nos Açores,
3) - Troca e partilha de geocoins e travel Bugs, ou dos seus códigos,
4) - Reflexão, em jeito de tertúlia, sobre: como desenvolver esta atividade.
Este encontro serve para homenagear o Chefe Jaime Silva Alexandre (falecido em 2013) que foi uma pessoa excepcional tendo-se notabilizado como um grande impulsionador do Escutismo na ilha do Faial e apoiante de muitas atividades Regionais, nomeadamente do Escutismo Marítimo. Deste modo influenciou centenas de jovens para serem bons escuteiros e cidadãos. Um grande amigo e com um sentido de humor muito apurado gostava muito de brincar e divertir-se na companhia dos seus amigos e amigas e apreciava muito a companhia dos jovens que o consideravam um modelo. Se fosse vivo e conhecesse esta atividade, de certeza que seria um grande geocacher.
OBSERVAÇÕES:
Este encontro terá lugar, nas coordenadas indicadas, no dia 18 de julho, pelas 20 horas, “naquele” Café…
Depois de, eventualmente, se ter “tomado um gin ao Geocaching”…,iremos para a porta ao lado (às 20H30), para a antiga “base” do PeterZee, onde decorrerá esta tertúlia.
Prevê-se o término deste evento pelas 22H30, com um brinde ao “Chefe Jaime”, de novo, no ponto inicial…
TRIBUTE TO BIG
CHIEF JAIME
This event aims to bring together, in Horta - Faial, geocachers with the following objectives:
1) sharing and exchange of experiences about Geocaching,
2) Watching a movie about Geocaching in the Azores,
3) exchange and sharing of geocoins and travel bugs, or their codes,
4) Reflection by way of get-together, about: how to develop this activity.
This meeting serves to honor the Chief Jaime Alexandre Silva (died in 2013) which was an exceptional person having been noted as a major driver of Scouting in Faial and supporter of many regional activities, including Scouting Sea. Thus influenced hundreds of young people to be good citizens and scouts. A great friend and a very keen sense of humor loved to play and have fun in the company of your friends and friends and enjoyed the company of very young people who considered him a model. If he were alive and knew this activity, certainly would be a great geocacher.
NOTES:
This meeting will take place at the given coordinates, on 18 July, by 20 hours, on "that" ... Coffee/Bar,
After eventually having "taken a gin to Geocaching" ... we will go to the next door (to 20.30), for the former "base" PeterZee where this get-together will take place.
It is expected by the end of this event 22H30, with a toast to "Chief Jaime", again, the starting point ...
