Geocache Description:

This is located near a swamp, so finding the cache quickly and getting back out before the insects get you is essential. (Bug spray would be a plus.)

This is a 2 litre frozen yogourt container. The blue lid may (or may not) be seen from an angle. It's 98% hidden, so you will have to move stuff around to find it. The swamp edge was almost near the location, but this is the wet season. The water should be a bit futher away in a few weeks. However, it's still dry enough that you can find it without getting your feet wet.

A great cache item would be a small can of bug spray. (Hint hint.)

The tiny blackflies and horseflies were starting to come out and were annoying us by getting in our faces, but weren't biting yet. The mosquitoes weren't out yet. After you find the cache, you may want to run down the trail a few hundred feet just to lose the bugs.

The place we entered from is at N44 17.580 and W79 12.218. There is another entry point a few hundred feet west of that, and another entry point (if you wanted to go for a bit of a hike) south of that off of Conc 2 (Old Shiloh Rd) at N44 16.001 W79 11.883.

This is our second cache. Our first for Canada. Since we live in Virginia, USA, we will be checking the site very rarely. But we will check it on our rare visits to the area.

Inside, we placed:
A journal and 2 pens to stay with the cache,
A $1 US bill to enter on WheresGeorge.com,
candles,
a beanie look alike spider toy,
a baseball toy,
mini slinky,
and the Pohick Travel Bug from Virginia, USA.

We took our 4 year old daughter with us, and it was a bit of a complain session getting through a few of the trees, but otherwise it was fun.

Have fun finding this!
