From Boats, Bikes, Cars and Trains, this Cache is in a series of caches that highlight the proposed North Shore Greenway that will tie together the Kill Van Kull, the North Shore Railroad and Richmond Terrace.
This Cache will take you to a pebble beach littered with drift wood and beach glass (salt weathered broken beer bottles). This stretch of water front (about a ¼ mile) has been turned into a Greenway Path many years ago. The paved path for biking and walking starts at the corner of Snug Harbor Road (East) and Richmond Terrace and leads you to the Snug Harbor Ferry Dock (destroyed by Sandy). This path will one day connect the Staten Island Ferry Terminal to the Goethals Bridge, but today does not connect to anything and is un-kept and over grown.
This Cache is a Multi with two stages; they are very close to each other. This Cache is accessible 24/7 but you will only reach it during low tide or you can chose to get your feet wet! Each Stage is a physical item and all are evil and difficult in their own way.
Congrads to Chris Saves and DawnAIC for the FTF! SynDaLog on STF and Rant with the TTF!
