At 930am precisely on Saturday June 7th 2014 I will become the referee, and blow a whistle to indicate the start of the first North vs South Football Flashmob. Please arrive in the area just before 930am but do not collect into groups before the event starts.
You should come dressed to play football (even if you are not at the peak of fitness, come and stand on the pitch and look interested!!) although keep the kit covered up until the appointed time. All ages and abilities welcome.
If you live to the North of the listed coordinates please come wearing a red top. You will be shooting south (down the field)
If you live to the South of the listed 
coordinates please come wearing a blue top. You will be shooting north (up the field)
When the start whistle goes at 930am, take outer clothes off to reveal your team colours and start the game. Commonly accepted park football rules will apply, but as the referee I will have final say, and any arguments will result in a sending off!!
The winning team is the first to score a goal. As soon as the goal is scored, the final whistle will sound the winner will be declared and the teams will gather for a team photo, then we will disperse, in a flash. The goal scorer can claim FTF.
The event should be finished at least by 945am, so plently of time to go caching afterwards.

I believe coins and pathtags are available to celebrate the event but I wouldn't dream of advertising places to buy them on here!!
