[LAT] Rēzekne kopš seniem laikiem nesusi izglītības un zinātnes pilsētas vārdu. 1925.gadā tur tika atklāts Rēzeknes valsts skolotāju institūts, ko sagrāva 2.pasaules kara laikā, bet padomju gados māju atjaunoja. Blakus vēsturiskai celtnei top arī mūsdienīgs Inženieru fakultātes korpuss, veidojot studentu pilsētiņu, kur Rēzeknes centrā tiks apvienotas visas Augstskolas fakultātes.

[ENG] Since ancient times, Rezekne brought educational and scientific name of the city. In 1925 was opened Rezekne State Teachers Institute, which was destroyed during the second World War, and later in the Soviet era was restored. Near the historic building built modern building of the Faculty of Engineering, creating a campus where in the city center will integrate all departments of the Rezekne Higher Education Institution.
