Non loin de la cache, le Longevent est une petite rivière qui mesure environ 13 km. Il prend sa source dans la commune de St Eloi près de l’étang de la Lansardière, et termine son parcours à proximité de l’aérodrome de Pérouges-Meximieux.
A cet endroit, le Longevent marque la frontière entre les communes de Pérouges et Meximieux. Il fait partie du parcours de l’Aubépin.

Not far from the cache, the Longevent is a small river which is about 13 km (8 miles). It comes from the town of St Eloi near the pond of the Lansardière, and finishes it course near the airport of Pérouges-Meximieux.
