Geocache Description:

Group biking and cache hunt along the Katy trail. Assemble for photo and sign the logbook at 1:30pm and roll at 2:00pm. This is event is designed for both begginer and experienced cyclists.

The Katy trail is 237 miles of crushed limestone that crosses the entire state. We'll start off where Lewis and Clark begin their adventure and ride 7 - 20 miles, stopping for caches along the way. Bike rentals are availble near this event. Since we are following the Katy you can turn back whenever you want. Pace will be very easy with lots of stops. Here is what you need to bring:

  • Hybrid or Mountain Bike or any bike that can handle crushed limestone trails
  • Helmet
  • Water Bottle
  • Spare tube
  • Pen

You may also want to bring sunscreen, bug spray and a snack.
