Our friends at RSPB Lochwinnoch are running free events to encourage geocachers to enjoy wildlife while out on their hunt! Join them on a quest to find a secret treasure chest, which is found deep within the woods of Lochwinnoch. We need adventurers to crack clues, overcome obstacles and brave the unknown trails of Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve to track down the treasure! This is a self-led event. Suitable for families. Wellies and waterproofs recommended.

As one of the few wetlands left in west Scotland, Lochwinnoch is an ideal day out for all the family. It's the perfect spot to watch whooper swans, wigeons and a wide variety of ducks... and look out for otters!

There will be a marquee for people to meet up for geo-chat and swap trackables. Hot and cold drinks, snacks and confectioneries will be available at the shop in the visitor centre.

Dogs are allowed as long as they are controlled and on a lead.
