The Blue Star Memorial Highway is located in Commerce near Spencer Park, the historical marker is a tribute to the “Armed Forces that have defended the United States.” The nearby L.G. Hardman Mansion was built in 1920. Hardman, a prominent citizen, served as Georgia’s governor from 1927-1931. Hardman is buries in Grey Hill Cemetery, also near the marker, which features numerous historical monuments.

Please be warned that this is an urban cache with two stop offs. The business owners are aware of the cache and the fact that folks will be passing through.
Bring your camera and proceed to the posted cords. Once there, enjoy the view of Spenser Park from the lovely gazebo. The patient observer may just find a clue that will lead you to a second and final stage. Its a nice stroll between the two stages if you're not in a hurry, but it is very easy to drive to the second stage if you're pressed for time. Once you reach the final, the only thing left to do is figure out how to access the logbook.
