Staro groblje Križevci
Osim današnjeg groblja na području Valpovštine postojalo je još pet starih groblja. Groblje koje smo vam odlučili pokazati je staro groblje Križevci (broj 1 na slici) na kojem je ukupno pokopano 3695 pokojnika u razdoblju od 1744. – 1870. Postojala je kapelica posvećena Sv. Križu sagrađena 1739. g. od drveta.
Početkom srpnja 2003. je, prilikom obrade zemlje, slučajno pronađen metalni križ iz 1909. g. s kamenim postoljem i ostacima nadgrobnih spomenika. Križ je sada obnovljen i postavljen na mjestu gdje je pronađen.
Old cementary Križevci
Beside current cementary of city Valpovo there were five more old cementaries. Cementary that we have decided to show you is old cementary Križevci (number one on the picture) where a total of 3695 deceased were buried in the period from 1744th to 1870th. There was a chapel dedicated to St. Cross was built in 1739th entirely from wood.
In early July 2003. Accidentally, when the land was plowed, a metal cross was found from the year 1909th with stone plinth and remains of gravestones. The cross is now restored and is set in a place where it is found.
