Das Holzkreuz auf dem Vogelberg ist im Besitz der Katholische Expositurgemeinde Kirchendemenreuth. Das Missionskreuz aus dem Jahre 1984 ist ein 4,20 Meter hohes Holzbalkenkreuz in Metallfassung mit Gipskorpus. Noch heute werden Flurprozessionen hierher durchgeführt, mit anschließendem Flurgottesdienst.
Herauszuheben an diesem Ort ist der Ausblick über das umliegende Land. Bei gutem Wetter ist es vor allem auch möglich den ein oder anderen Drachen- oder Gleitschirmflieger beim Start zu beobachten.

The wooden cross on the Vogelberg is owned by the Catholic Community. The Mission Cross from 1984 is a 4.20 meter high wooden beams cross in a metal frame with a plaster corpus. Even today meadow processions are arranged to this place with a following worship.
Of particular note on this place is the view over the surrounding countryside. In good weather, it is especially possible to observe one or the other hang-glider or paraglider at startup.
