Christ Church is part of the united benefice of All Saints Snodland with Christ Church Lower Birling. Lower Birling is now effectively part of Snodland. The church stands on the Malling Road opposite St. Katherine's Lane.
The puzzle:
The Parish Church of Chesterfield in Derbyshire has a very crooked and twisted spire. The technical explanation for this is that "green wood" was used for construction and therefor not fit for purpose. Local folklore suggests that otherwise!
