Cache was placed near the new trail to Split Rock Reservoir. It's a
yellow blazed trail that can be caught along Kinnelon Rd near
N40.58.276, W74.24.036. Parking is scarce, but there is space for
one or two cars on the shoulder 50 yards south of the trailhead and
a much larger parking area 1/4 mile south of the trailhead, along
the shoulder, next to a pond.
A short climb taking the yellow blazed trail, but generally an easy
hike in a very pretty area. Note the interesting rock formations
along the way. Stick with the yellow trail. Though it starts out
headed in the wrong direction, it will take you within 50 feet of
the cache if you stay with it.
