Geocache Description:

Located in the National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN. The cemetery grounds remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This is the third of a series (of 3) virtual caches. You might want to vist The Great Chase #1 & The Great Chase #2 first, but it is not necessary. Who was it that said, "War is Hell"? When you look around this solemn place you can only think he was right. This cache is a monument to a very colorful and daring incident of the Civil War.
