This cache was placed by BSA Troop 697 from Chandler, Arizona.
Heading out to Lake Powell for a campout over the spring break, we decided
to place our first geocache stash. The cache is a 2.5 pound coffee can
filled with treasures donated by the scouts.
We took the scouts out on the lake for a short boat ride to explore the
canyons when we came across this beach. Hiking in the area, one of the
adults discovered the caching site. The scouts all wrote in the log
and were pretty excited.
The lake level was low when we placed the cache but there should be
enough beach during the late spring when the levels are back up.
